Addison Mill Apartments are just off Hebron Avenue in Glastonbury, an affluent town (pop. 27,000) located some 10 miles southeast of Hartford, Connecticut’s capital. Glastonbury was rated top place to live in the state by Connecticut magazine in 2005. Of the 13,000 residential units in the town, fewer than 300 are classified as rental units—and all of these were built in the 1960s. A small shopping center is a short walk from the apartments and Glastonbury Center is less than two miles away. Also within two miles are an indoor tennis facility, medical offices, schools, churches, the post office, municipal departments and supermarkets.
